HerHustle Live is an event organised by Alex Brown Consultancy Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). For the purposes of UK data protection law, Alex Brown Consultancy Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

What data we collect

When you purchase a ticket, we collect:

These details are stored securely in our attendee list so we can manage the event and check you in on the day.

We do not store your payment card details — these are handled securely by Stripe and never pass through our systems.

If you contact us directly by email, we will retain that correspondence.

The member directory

If you add yourself to the HerHustle Live directory, we collect and store:

Your listing is shown on a public page that anyone can view. Only the fields you fill in are shown, and your email address is never shown. You can untick "show my listing" at any time to hide it, or delete your listing and all its data yourself from your listing page.

Adding a listing also means you're happy to hear from us about HerHustle Live. You can unsubscribe from any email we send.

Who we share your data with

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to run this website and manage ticket sales. Each acts as a data processor on our behalf:

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with any other third parties for marketing purposes.

How long we keep your data

We will retain your attendee data for up to 12 months after the event date, after which it will be securely deleted. If you request deletion sooner, we will action this within 30 days (subject to any legal obligations to retain records).

Directory listings are kept until you delete them, which you can do yourself at any time from your listing page.

Cookies

This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies. If you add or edit a directory listing, we set one strictly necessary cookie that remembers you clicked the confirmation link in your email; it lasts 30 minutes and holds no personal data. When you proceed to buy a ticket you are taken to Stripe's secure checkout, which may set its own cookies necessary to process your payment — see Stripe's own privacy policy for details.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent version.
